What is the longest period that the stretching stimulus can be applied using the Strex cell stretch device?

Cells in the incubator can be stretched for a period of two weeks. However, in these long-term experiments, the culture fluid has to be replaced at 2-3 day intervals. In addition, there must be enough motor coolant to ensure the motor is running at a safe temperature throughout the long-term culture. Insufficient coolant may cause the temperature in and around the motor to rise, in turn destroying the cells and/or damaging the equipment.
