I Have a Blip/Shift/Unknown Peak in my Baseline
Purpose
This article outlines why your baseline might change due to air inside the ECD as well as the resolution to remove the air from the system.
Solution
This is related to air bubble generation in the detector cell. Please do not put a waste container below the HPLC system; put it on the same level with the HPLC (HTEC-500). Also please check the autosampler setting to see that it does not include excess air segments between the sample and media.
