This article explains how often it is recommended to replace the reference electrode on the HTEC-600 HPLC-ECD.
Solution
We recommend replacing the reference electrode about once a year or if you experience an unusually high background current. A new reference electrode RE-500 can be purchased on our website here, or over the phone or by PO.
